Article Marketing - Techniques to Increase Your Article Marketing Effectiveness

September 26th, 2008

Are you using article marketing in advancing your writing and in quickly improving the most responsive traffic to your website? I must say that you have made the most profitable choice as article writing for traffic generation is very effective both in terms of sales and traffic promotion and online traffic.

Here’s how you can improve your article marketing effective strategies:

1. Study the effective strategies of writing intriguing titles. This is one of the first things that you should start to do to do in order to supercharge your traffic. You should start to do to learn how to write titles that can interest web traffic readers so you can get these internet visitors to open and read your articles. You may use radical ideas, words that can induce readers to take action, and you can even use new information to get the attention you need. Just be positive that all the information you offer to your internet viewers is not wrong so you will not mislead them.

2. Get informative articles for distribution. Get more web people to consume your articles and radically increase their chances of being picked up and republished by assuring yourself that they are of the best quality. They must be loaded full of the most usable information, web site articles must be written well, highly important to the needs and demands of your customers, and they must be well written. And of course, they must be quick to read, accurate, and direct to the point to be made as you are serving humans with short time.

3. Learn your best buyers. This is something that must be done in this field. You must discover about the internet visitors you are writing and creating your articles for to surely make your web information important and specific to their wishes and demands. I recommend that you invest at least a few hours a day writing with this online traffic source through online means and other methods.

4. Do a keyword research. This is one of the fastest ways to reveal the needs or other topics that your possible clients are hunting for. Track down a keyword suggestion tool and discover the keywords that are often being researched by your clients when they go searching on the internet. You can create articles around these most critical keywords so you can correctly offer your traffic what they truly really need.

5. Use a great resource box. Convert more internet visitors to subscribers by using an enticing and good resource box and bio. In this resource box, you can show your expertise, your offer to teach them, the solutions you can provide, and the reasons why they should work with you. Be sure to put in your bio your website’s URL, a good call to action, and a compelling reason to act.

Six Pack Abs Cover-Up - The 2 Truths to a Flat Stomach the Industry Doesn’t Want You to Know

September 25th, 2008

Six pack abs and flat stomachs are always hot items. Exercises and gadgets sold to achieve a flat stomach are one of the hottest areas of the fitness industry. Millions of stomach gadgets, gimmicks, and exercise machines are sitting dusty in closets around the world. These gadgets are snatched-up in pursuit of sexier, flatter stomach. Yet there is information important to your fitness success that product makers will never tell you. This missing information keeps you on the hamster wheel buying ever more “fitness products” and further away from six pack abs.

First, the most critical thing for great looking six pack abs is losing the extra fat covering up your stomach muscles. Most people already have decent abdominals. No, really, you probably do too. Those secret six pack abs are just tragically hidden under layers of fat. To get these hidden stomach muscles to emerge into the light of day you must eat a diet that is right for you. You need to know what foods will work for your lifestyle and tastes.

Yet the perfect diet alone is not enough to get you a fitness model looking stomach. You must combine a diet proper for you along with the correct fat burning exercises. Only then can you get into the shape necessary to join the ranks of abdominal show-offs. Notice how I said the word “correct” before “fat burning exercises” in the previous sentence?

The next inconvenient truth for the fitness gadget industry is almost all of the stomach exercises recommended on TV, the internet, in magazines, etc. are not the best way to get those six pack abs to appear. In an attempt to flatten the stomach, too much focus is directed at exercises directly for the abdominals. The best exercises for losing abdominal fat are ones that work the largest portions of the body at once.

To make matters worse gadget makers are going in the extreme opposite direction by laser focusing only on the abdominals. If you could build muscle and burn fat all day from 10-15 minutes of gadget-free exercise or burn 1000 calories in 60 minutes of moving like a hamster in a wheel, which would you choose? The industry’s problem is that an expensive AbdomiTronic” is not necessary in the first picture.

Fitness product makers know there is not much money to be made in telling people to eat right for your needs and to perform basic time-tested exercises. There are billions of dollars in giving people just enough information to seem credible then selling them a gadget to magically solve their problem though. Since most people are not aware of the whole story about how to get into great shape gadget makers capitalize on that ignorance. Neat looking products are churned out that claim to wipe away all the reasons you can’t get into the shape you’ve always dreamed of. All the while leaving out the inconvenient details, the very details which tell there are no gadgets required to get in great shape.

If you really want tighter flatter abdominals that look like a six pack, remember that losing that extra stomach fat is the most important factor. Right after eating properly is using exercises that work the most amount of muscle possible. Full-body exercises are one of the best kept secrets for sexy six pack abs. Now this information is only the starting point. As I wrote earlier you have to eat right for you and find the most effective exercises that suit you.

No doubt the questions “What actually is eating right?” and “What are those effective exercises?” popped into your head. Well, that is a completely different topic than six pack abs and a story for another day.

Now that you get that obsessing over your abs is not going turn you into a fitness model with 6 pack abs and all the rest, now what? You still want to have a nice slim stomach so what do you do? The first step is to get your diet right and you can grab a good weight loss program from this list of proven diets.

While you’re there grab the 2 Free reports. One chock full of fat burning secrets and the other shows you how to practically think the fat off your body. Get your copy today at http://www.TruthInABvertising.com

Small Business Cash Flow Main Reason For Failure

September 24th, 2008

Small Business cash flow troubles are the main reasons for failure. The problem when sales are flat is generally a recipe for disaster if you do not have sufficient capital stashed away for just such an occasion. And generally speaking, how many of us do have enough resources to sustain us through those very difficult times.

A fable I was told recently may very well shed some light on one’s perception of how to extricate one’s self from these anxious-ridden days.

Way, way back in Eastern Europe when there were traveling preachers and rabbis, a rabbi and his student were traveling around the countryside, and spent a night in each village, being hosted by the villagers in their extremely meager lives. The rabbi and the student were equally poor, and were sustained only by the generosity of the people with whom they prayed and counseled.

One night they came upon a run-down home with a barn at its side in a valley, at the foot of a hill. The couple welcomed the rabbi and student into their home, gave them a meal, and allowed them to sleep in the barn. The couple told the rabbi, that if it was not for the one cow that they owned, they would indeed perish. The cow provided them with milk. They sold any surplus milk that they had, and also sold the cheese that they made from the milk. In this way, they managed to keep body and soul together.

The rabbi thanked them for the meal, and he and the student went to sleep in the barn with the cow.

Before daybreak, the rabbi woke the student and told him that it was time to go, and that they should take the cow with them, before the old couple woke up. The student was horrified and asked why the rabbi would do such a terrible thing, and the rabbi replied that it would all be made clear to the student in good time.

So, they dressed and untied the cow, and left the farm. They traveled up a hill, and when they got to the top, the rabbi took the cow to the edge of the hill, and pushed it off the top, where it tumbled down and died.

He and the student went on their way. Over the next few days, the student continually questioned the rabbi as to why he had done such a terrible thing to the old couple, and each time was told that everything would be explained to him in good time. Over the next few years, the student continually pondered the problem of the cow.

Eventually, the rabbi and student arrived at the very same farm where they had spent the night that they had taken the cow. But lo and behold, the old shack was no longer there, but high on the hillside was a beautiful brick house.

The rabbi and the student went up to the house, knocked on the door, and the same couple welcomed them into the house. They were so happy to see the rabbi and were quick to ask him if he had seen the cow when he had left the barn, because the cow had disappeared. The rabbi said that they had left the barn while the cow was there, and asked the couple how they had managed to become so successful.

When the cow had disappeared, the farmer had no source of income, so he and his son had gone down to the town and obtained work in a saw mill. The owner of the saw mill had no family, and was very happy with the farmer and his son and willed the mill to them. However, the mill owner died suddenly, and the mill became the property of the farmer, who prospered and made a lot of money, which enabled them to build themselves a beautiful house and live comfortably.

The farmer and his wife told the rabbi that if it was not for the cow disappearing, they would not have been so comfortable now.

This, my friends, is the end of the fable. BUT, the beginning of a learning curve for all small businesses who are stuck in a situation of bad cash flow. Do you have a cow that is causing you expense with little or no return? Is it perhaps not time to get rid of the cow and re-structure your business? Not all cows are cash cows!

Look around you, examine your finances, get rid of excess baggage, diversify your inventory, perhaps even sell or close down the business and move to a new project. Necessity will determine how you can best re-establish yourself in an upward curve.

Learn from the fables….. my grandfather was the rabbi!

How to Attract Venture Capital With Copywriting

September 23rd, 2008

Venture capital is the fuel, and often the igniting spark, of many young ventures. Unfortunately, new entrepreneurs find it difficult to connect to venture capital firms and many firms never see bright opportunities that flame out before attracting funding. Effective copywriting can be the key to solving these missed opportunities.

Target Venture Capital

Finely written Web copy and experienced keyword research famously attracts search engines, motivates customers, and compels action. If you are an entrepreneur with a hot idea, but not quite enough capital to take it to its full potential angels and venture capitalist should be part of your target market in your marketing plan.

Keyword Research

Start with good keyword research and analysis an zero in on what venture capitalist are looking for–markets, benefits, ideas, and trends. Then create an SEO plan to bring vector in interest to your project or company.

Highlight Synergies

No one will know companies and technologies that are natural components of your value chain. These become powerful synergies when two or more of these opportunities are in one investor’s portfolio. Make sure your Web copy and marketing materials clearly demonstrate these connections and potentials.

Focus on Benefits

Like customers they are looking for benefits and need to be emotionally inspired to action. A professional copywriter can help you achieve this result on your website, in your emails, on your business card, and even in your pitch.

Get Emotional

Remember what drives venture capitalist to action: large markets, smart teams, and a passionate inferno. These are all qualities that a good copywriter can bring to vivid life your marketing.

Target Bright Entrepreneurs

This difficulty in connecting is not limited to entrepreneurs trying to raise capital. In fact, the problem of investors trying to locate the right ideas, quality teams, and attractive deals to meet their goals may be more acute.

Venture capital websites typically highlight past successes, current portfolios, and partner profiles, yet do little to attract targeted new opportunity.

A top copywriter can design a search engine strategy and experience that will efficiently attract, segment, and engage the types of entrepreneurs and ideas you want to fund.

Write for the Sale

Like any marketing or copywriting project, don’t forget to write for the sale. Hope and opportunity will still pass in the wind if you don’t ask for a conversation.

2008 Future of Mobile Oil Change Industry Under Fire

September 21st, 2008

Many automotive sector entrepreneurs consider running a mobile oil change business, but what will the future be like for these small business owners? And how is the mobile oil change industry doing now with all the competition from low-cost oil change fixed sites or big box store companies like Wal-Mart Auto Centers?

Well, I am happy to report that the mobile oil change sector is fine, a company with strong branding can take the market, most all of it in small regional area. Indeed, someone could easily set this up across many states, but have retired and so, I have not done so. People like auto services that come to their homes or offices. For many years I The Car Wash Guys, Detail Guys and Oil Change Guys franchise systems.

What about the future as we move to hydrogen cell cars, they do not have engine oil that needs to be changed? In the future, there will be Hydrogen Cell “ceramic filters” and other items that will need check-ups. A combo company at that point might be one that cleans, details and changes out usable components and tunes up these future cars - 10 years out.

For now a company would be smart to build routes close together, concentrate on fleet business and offer multiple oil brands as required by manufacturers so they can comply with EPA emissions rules. As for marketing a Mobile Service Business, that really is the key to success and do not forget in the mobile oil change business, efficiency of operations is the most important consideration.

How to Spot the Right Business Opportunities

September 17th, 2008

Business opportunities are abundant over the internet. Some of them require absolutely no start up costs. Others you need to invest a good amount of money in order to earn. Choosing which business opportunity would do you well depends upon your own skills. Being successful in one is all up to you anyway.

Before you sign up with a business opportunity, it is important that you assess yourself first. It is best that you answer the following questions first.

1. How do you intend to work on your chosen business?

Don’t be fooled by a business that says you don’t need to do anything to get you started or to earn. If this were true, then it won’t be hard for them to get members. Besides, they would have full load and probably can’t take you in. When choosing online business opportunities, you have to learn the secrets of the trade first. How are you going to earn from them? Would you sell? Do you have to get downlines? Do you need to answer emails, take orders, or maintain a blog? These are important questions to answer. And once you have found out how you can possibly earn from your chosen business opportunity, you can assess your abilities whether you are cut out for it or not. This way, you won’t waste your time on opportunities that won’t work for you.

2. How much time can you put in?

In a business time is of element. Decide right on if you can devote long hours or if you can just work on a part time basis on it. Some business would require you to put in long hours during the start up stages. Then that time spent would decreases as the foundations of your business are laid. Choose a business opportunity that can accommodate your busy schedule, if that’s the case.

3. What skills and talents can you contribute?

In every business opportunity, you have to devote not only your time but your abilities as well. What talents do you have? Are they related to your chosen business? If so, then you’re on the right track. If your talent is web design, then it is best that you select a business opportunity that revolves around web design services, consultation, or graphic s creation. The same goes true if your talents are in content writing, video creation, blogging, and others.

4. Are you willing to invest some money?

There are a lot of business opportunities that require new members to pay a certain amount. This can be called a registration fee, setup fee, or startup fee. Decide if it is okay with you to shell out a few dollars to earn some. The fees of business opportunities range from $1 to $100. It is best that you straighten this detail out before joining. It is also important how long you’ll get your money back in terms of profit if in case you decide to join a paid business opportunity.

5. Is the company trustworthy?

The last question you have to answer is not about you but about the company you’re joining itself. It is important that you affiliate yourself with a company that truly pays their members whatever they have worked for. They should also have a good payment system in place. To know if you’re with a legitimate and progressive company, make a survey or ask other people over the internet. If the company has good feedbacks, then you should be on the safe side.

Cold Call Telemarketing Business to Business With A Zero Dollar Marketing Budget

September 14th, 2008

If your business sells products or services to other businesses, ie. B2B, you have a tremendous opportunity to boost sales using telemarketing. Perhaps your cash flow is at a point where an influx of cash could really help. The following idea is a short-term telemarketing campaign you can implement yourself for great results. Best of all, it does not have to cost you any new money to get started. So, your return on investment is very high.

Here is all you need to start:

1. A Phone line.

2. A list of people

3. Some paper to keep track of the calls you make.

So, unless you are making long distance calls, this cold calling campaign could cost you nothing outside of your normal business expenses and the time involved in executing this plan.

Let’s get started. First, put your ego aside along with all the misconceptions you have about telemarketing and read carefully. This is a powerful technique I have used many times for a surge of cash into a variety of companies, including $46,500 in new business over a 2 month period for a company that was going broke.

1. The Gameplan. You will be calling businesses, during normal business hours, so you do not have to worry about the Federal “Do Not Call List” rules, since calling businesses during normal business hours is not considered part of these laws. Gather a list of at least 500 names and numbers of potential customers or clients you’d like to do business with. These are cold prospects that do not know you, or you have not done business with before. Look online, get the Yellow Pages or anywhere you can get names and numbers of businesses to call. The point of this cold calling project is to develop “new” relationships and business. You can do a different campaign to produce results with your existing clients and customers, which I wrote about in another article.

2. Think short term. The idea for this cold calling technique is to do a short term “blast” and call as many prospects as you can in a 1-3 week time frame. This gives you a clear deadline and goal to work toward. Also, if you have enough prospects to call, you will not get stuck on any one prospect that hangs up, swears at you etc.

You will need to set some goals that you want to accomplish, and being you have a clear end-point, the calling does not have to feel like such drudgery. You can make it fun, or turn it into a contest if you have others in your company involved. You will want to set some target revenues, sales, appointments, leads, etc. to have a clear goal to work toward.

3. Develop your script. This is the hardest part. Get the idea out of your head that a script is bad. The only way you can track and improve your progress is by monitoring your progress and changing one thing at a time, only then can you find out what is working and what is not working. Your script should be basic, to the point and cover the major benefits of dealing with your company. You will want to introduce yourself, your company and what you are offering, either in the form of a promotion, discount or call to action. Obviously, you will need a script that accomplishes the main objectives of your way of doing business, whether that is in the form of walk-in traffic, face-to-face meetings, sending out material, selling directly by phone or visiting a web site. Also, put together a list of responses, or rebuttals, from common objections prospects have before doing business with you. You probably already know these objections, but putting the responses to these objections down on paper, in script form, will help you give a better phone presentation and generate better results than off-the-cuff, unscripted answers.

4. Start Calling. Set a specific time every day for the duration of your cold calling campaign, and stick to it. Try to make 100 dials per day minimum, and record your progress in the form of dials you make, the actual number of decision makers you talk to, and the resulting sales, appointments, commitments or other business generator. Focus on dials and activity each day, rather than the end result. Make sure you keep track of those calls you need to follow-up a second or third time as these are very good prospects.

You have heard before sales and marketing is a numbers game, and if you do the numbers, the results will follow. And, this takes the sting out of rejection by phone, which many people have a hard time with. But, by the end of this campaign, you will have no trouble with hang ups or nasty people, which, in B2B selling is less common than calling residences.

5. Adjust and Improve. As you make your calls, you will notice things that work and do not work, record these things, make changes to your script and keep calling. By the end of your cold call campaign, you will no doubt see a dramatic increase in business, perhaps you will begin generating enough profits to hire someone to keep calling, since, at this point, you have all the kinks worked out of your telemarketing campaign, you can just replicate what you are doing with someone else. Who knows, you could have an entire phone room working for you by the end of the year!

Timm O’day has used telemarketing successfully in a variety of businesses. He believes that it is a great method to compliment any marketing campaign. You can read more about how to get started telemarketing with a sample script any business can use with great results at his resource and blog.

Part-Time Senior Workers - Older and Wiser!

September 12th, 2008

Managing headcount is tricky business. While burgeoning staff costs are always under the scanner, recruiters are equally challenged when it comes to filling certain positions which require specialized skills and experience. For an entrepreneur, who personally handles the human resource function, this problem is worse, as it just adds on to the never ending list of responsibilities. So, how does one keep staff costs under control, yet ensure that it doesn’t lead to a shortage of manpower in key positions? Hiring part-time senior workers is a very workable solution for many. Have you given it a thought?

The benefits of using temporary help are not unknown. You might have recruited summer interns, used contract workers or asked a recruitment agency for “temp” staff. While this might work well for “low impact” jobs, which require less prior experience and expertise, what do you do when the need is for people who possess both attributes in abundance? Part-time senior workers bring a wealth of knowledge and wisdom, since they’ve already been there, done that. And because they’re not looking to build a career, you don’t have to worry about headcount in the long run.

There are lots of other advantages to hiring part-time senior workers. Studies have shown that older people have a strong sense of responsibility - so you don’t have to monitor their activities. Contrary to popular opinion, there is lower absenteeism and greater punctuality among the older folk. Add to that their superior judgment and better work ethic, and you’ll find that part-time senior workers can be quite an asset.

If you take a few simple measures when signing up part-time senior workers, you will stand to gain a loyal workforce, which is as eager to please as the rookie recruit.

Allow the older people flexible and shorter working hours. While their spirits may still be willing, alas the flesh is not, and it’s in everyone’s best interests to respect that. Also, assign tasks that don’t go beyond a few weeks to part-time senior workers, since they may not be in a position to commit for a longer period. Make sure the work area is comfortable; if you can provide a place where they can rest awhile, you’ll be rocketing up the popularity charts in no time!

Also remember that your part-time senior workers aren’t in it for the money - they quit the rat race a long time ago. What they need are words of appreciation and to know that you believe in their abilities. Older people are known to pick up new skills and technologies quite easily; use that to your advantage.

Of course, your company will also benefit from the other advantages of employing a part-time workforce - including being exempt from certain workplace laws. On the flip side though, you need to watch out for any conflict between the practice of hiring part-time senior workers and an early retirement or retrenchment policy that your company may follow. It’s best to seek legal advice on this one. And if you need help locating prospective candidates, companies like CareerBuilder, can do it for you. That being said, hiring part-time senior workers can really be a win-win situation for all concerned. Truly, in this case, old is gold!

Be a Member of a Club and Get Good Entrepreneur Ideas

September 9th, 2008

Most people have very high regards for the business entrepreneurs as they are always thought of to be the very rich people since they are the bosses in the corporate world that they move in. However, it takes time to become a successful entrepreneur. Not all entrepreneurs are prosperous in their undertakings.

There are likewise those who simply convene their own dooms because their entrepreneur ideas fail to work to the best possible level. Entrepreneur ideas are at times not baked on an overnight basis. Being successful in one venture means taking time to be patient and concerting all efforts to achieve the very positive output that has been wished for.

Entrepreneurs have their own affiliation clubs. You may have heard of the Entrepreneurs Clubs, right? This is the group that aids all of its entrepreneur members in solving particular problems that confront them with regards to their businesses. In its basic sense, the Entrepreneurs Club or otherwise popularly referred to as the Entre Club, is a band of individuals which get together on a designated time to either promote or implement some worthy and convened entrepreneurial practices in varying fields.

The Major Function of the Entre Club

As is the same with all other clubs, the Entre Club also has its own set of objectives. It will utterly be useless for groups if they don’t have their designated goals and objectives. These Entre Clubs can either work for providing financial aids to the students who are to participate in entrepreneurial competitions or to educate the members about the best working entrepreneurial principles.

Among the basic functions of the Entre Club are:

To encourage the participants or members to share their business problems and ideas to the rest of the members;

The club holds specific events to be able to fortify their networking capacities;

The group invites the connoisseurs to hold talks that will provide answers to the most commonly asked inquiries;

The club conceptualizes the proper knowledge that will provide solution to the issues on investments;

It makes available the list of solutions to particular problems which are encountered by the members;

It encourages freedom among its members;

It evaluates the problem and offer swift solutions; and

It endorses several services and goods for commercial use.

The Real Deal with Harboring Entrepreneur Ideas

Becoming an entrepreneur yourself cannot be solely equated with having the money for the investment. Rather, it is more geared towards having the strong urge to gain money. It does not matter that you are scholarly blessed but what is important is that you have the greatest ideas that will lead you to success. Apart from it, it follows suit that an entrepreneur is gifted with ample knowledge and a strong sense of risk-taking personality.

Doing business is all about taking risks. You will never know what lies ahead of you if you will not brave take the path leading to it. In short, being a member of Entre Clubs will provide you the opportunity to maximize your skills and generate ideas that will bring your business to a boom.

The usual get-togethers of the Entre Clubs are a sort of brainstorming. There are some benefits and advantages that you can earn from being a member of Entre Clubs. Why will you simply keep things to yourself when in fact you can harbor magnificent entrepreneur ideas from these sessions?
