But prospective entrepreneurs need to know they”ll probably watch their incomes drop as a result, says a researcher from the University of Toronto”s Rotman School of Management.
‘Too many entrepreneurs don”t make any money on this,’ says Thomas Astebro, a professor of strategy and entrepreneurship at Rotman. ‘In fact, they lose money on average.’
Astebro”s comments are based on findings in a paper he wrote on entrepreneurs with colleague Peter Thompson of Florida International University.
